lol. I always brake crap in DIY's but this is easy. Pull out the lens. Separate housing from light that is held on by a clip. Switch the flank bulb in and re assemble. It is a 2 minute job for both sides.
I like the old one. The warmer color is softer on the eyes than a bright white, and for a vanity mirror, is more than sufficient. I suppose white LEDs gives it a more modern look

Agree, less strain and softer light my girl uses when doing makeup and stuff. Lexus knows best. Then the albeit small outlay of $, I say no go.
I put the LEDs in and the Wife said see did not like the way the light does not reflect the true colors of her make up. Needless to say, I put the OEMs back in.
