hey mahcah
I just got my E30 lens. Excellent condition save for a very small scratch on them, but I doubt such a fine imperfection wou ld make much of a noticeable difference.
I gotta take this sucker apart too. Can't wait to get started.

Our ISx50 projectors are 3". It wont fit without alot of cutting; you may need to use a shroud (barely enough room, i think) if you go this route to cover up.
Its probably easier with the TSX's or FX's.
Im starting to debate whether or not to start on this fog retro.. hhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

I am actually thinking about doing this project also, I am in the process of purchasing the bosch mini projectors with clear lens. It's small enough to fit into the foglights and I will try to fabricate a bezel or shroud if i can't find the right ones. Oh yea I am about to head home right now, so when I get home I'll take the pics for you.
I loook forward to the pictures T. Thank yas

It depends. If there was alot of cutting and it is visible from the outside and you want to cover it up, then a shroud is recommended imo for looks. The method with using the camry projectors (2.5") would not require me to use shrouds because its a nice fit; the only part of the fogs i would cut is the back of the housing to get the projector inside the foglight. Now if I wanted to dress it up, I'd use a shroud (that would fit inside the foglight).
On the extreme side, if I wanted to use the ISx50 projectors (3") I would have to do heavier modification, cutting and dremeling to make the projector fit inside the housing. More likely the cutting/dremeling would show imperfections; this is were I can play dress up and cover my scars by using the shroud.
So yep, it depends....

Here are the pics as promised! Sorry the car is dirty have to wash it soon.
These bezels are the ace flanges that I mentioned
With the headlights and fogs on ( Philips d2s 4300k rebased 9006 HID bulbs)
Notice the flicker of colors!
V-led DRL bulbs.
As you can see limited amount of space, but enough to fit my hand in there to swap out the bulbs. It's a pain in the a** but well worth it. Don't mind the drips on the projectors, it's just a little overflow of the jb weld.
