Upgraded college beater to IS 250
This is my first new car ever and I never ever thought I'd get a new car! Let alone a Lexus! I got one of the last 2008 IS 250 base models available. I was so lucky.

I got my first car when I was 19, a freshman in college, it was a 1997 Plymouth Neon with 120,000 miles on it when I bought it for $1,000. I racked the miles up to 220,000 before an old blind man pulled out in front of me and it was totaled in 2004. With 2 years left in college, I needed a new cheap ride, and got a 2003 Chevy Malibu with 47,000 miles on it. I paid it off last year and drove it until now. My boyfriend and I replaced the intake manifold gasket on it last September, which they are notorious for having problems with. It has 130,000 miles on it and I was getting pretty nervous about having a catastrophic failure. I'm so thrilled to be in my new fabulously engineered car!
