You can tell by looking at the 11th digit on your VIN: 2=Kyushu and 5=Tahara.

Being an engineer for Toyota, i have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to travel to Japan several times for business. On one of those trips, I was able to tour the Tahara IS plant and let me tell you guys, it is much more impressive in person. You absolutely wouldnt believe the fit and form inspection section of the line. The Detroit 3 have light years to go before even sniffing either Lexus or Toyota's ***.

Mine is from the Kyushu plant.
