Has anyone put the front door handles on the rear door and have them work?

Sometime I just want to grab the rear door handles to unlock the door.

I wish the IS had that, but it seems like an expensive mod. I just set my door handles to open all 4 doors with the touch of the fronts, and I just reach for the front door handle, then open the rear when I'm putting my kids in back. It's a small car, so not a far reach.
