Default Lowering Springs

Guys!!

I was over at the dealership ealier today to get my dash rattles fixed... came across this ad where they are charging $850 (Parts & Labor) to get the F Lowering Springs installed..

http://www.lexus.com/models/IS/f-spo...pring_set.html

Do you guys think this is a good deal?? I have read a couple of threads here that folks ran into numerous issues lowering their IS on their own... (EG The AFS headlight issue etc)

At the same time I would like to get a weigh in on the quality of this spring and if the lowering is at a decent amount which would it nice?? anyone on this forum installed these springs??

Thanks...

$850 for f-sport springs and dealership install? sounds like highway robbery.

when done correctly and by a knowledgeable mechanic/grease monkey, there should be no issues.

f-sport springs are rebadged eibach pro-kits w/ a factory warranty. iirc you'll get 1" up front and .6" in the rear.

there are plety of people on this forum that have installed these springs; i'm not so sure on an AWD 2is, though...

I just got the springs installed the other day and I love them!! And honestly I think I got lower then 1", I got about 1.5" and they still have to settle. The ride is just as smooth as stock and cornering has improved. P.S. $850 bucks is alot for the springs and install, they can do better trust me...

springs for the is250 rwd/is350 can be used for the is250 awd.
