Impression of IS250 vs. my Acura TL

Congrats on the Beemer. When I was shopping for my Lexus IS350 I also looked at 335's. The CPO certification and warranty is important to have, especially with a Benz or BMWs.

I know what you mean. Prior to deciding on the Z06, I wanted an NSX. But they are just almost impossible to find. I picked the Corvette, and specifically the Z06, because it has a very similar proportion to the NSX. I was at work today and saw another NSX next to me. If you ask a girl who doesn't know anything about car, she might even say they are the same car.
Yes, they are both sport cars with long hoods and short rear deck but the vette's rear is much bigger and the NSX has exotic looks.
Both very cool but I wouldn't say they looked alike. Just goes to show how people see the same things differently.
BTW, TL's are nice. Just put some 19's on it with PS2 tires and it will take on a different personality. Also, any girlishness the IS has will disappear with some nice mods, mainly wheels and a drop....but keep the TL. You have the vette.

Before I got my IS, I was looking at BMW as well but they cost 10K more for the same equipments. Thought about buying used but not sure about the reliability. Maybe I'll do CPO next time.. anyone buy brand new BMW w/o lease?

Very nice COrvette. I find the IS to be the most aggresive looking car in this class. Its also so styled that is hurt rear seat room. I have to say I am a fan of the last gen TL styling and its the only ACura sedan to actually have some style (the 91-94 Legend sedan is timeless though).

Well, I did it. Just got myself a '07 BMW 335i Sedan w/24k miles on it. It's CPO so I'm covered until 100k miles. It's the only way to go if you're getting a BMW.
Didn't think I go back to BMW but after the test drive. Wow!!! I realized what I've been missing for the past three years. So for now, the Lexus will have to wait a couple more years.

I thought about leasing a new 335i also (about $700/mon). But I got a really good deal on this loaded 335i. Price was $28.8k, OTD was less than $31.5k. And it came with all the things I want: Luxury package, sport package w/ 18 inch wheels, paddle shifter, upgraded sound, heated seats, adaptive xenon, tint, and of course 100k miles CPO.

And thanks. I love the Vette too. I just drove it tonight and it felt great, lots of fun. I used to not like driving it at light because it didn't have xenon. But since I upgrade my headlights to xenon, that is a non issue.

I went from a 05 TL to an IS350 and i have to say the lexus rides so much better and had better pick up in torq. I gave up on my TL after the accident and also there isnt much to mod =P. It sucks that there isnt leg room in the rear and the navi was so much easier to use in the TL. But im happy with my choice.
A pic of my old car.

^ Nice ride I agree on the rattles. TL had them and the IS did also. My GS is better but they are there also. Things I wouldnt have expected from Lexus. All are nice rides IMO. BMW and Audi both offer a drive that is to die for Just all depends on what you are looking for. I never had one problem with Audi or BMW.
