#16
i dont tihnk its worth the money to change that one spot really.. if youve got it though then go for it, the IS-F ones look veryyyy sexy, i'd choose those over the Proexhaust Altezza ones

The difference between them is that the Ebay tail lights are a 4 piece set which uses a cluster of LEDs as your brake lights and you use your stock blinker bulb that will blink white.
The IS-F tail lights are a 2 piece set which uses a combination of "regular bulbs" along with LEDs to make up the brake lights. They are offered as a JDM or USDM version. JDM does not have the 4 LEDs on the outside of the outer tail lights. IS-F will include an amber blinker bulb as a replacement.
A normal person probably wouldn't notice the difference between the two in the day time, but they look very different lit up at night. The Ebay ones have that BMW/Infiniti style of lighting to them, kind of like the '09 IS.
Having seen both in person, the ebay ones do give it a different look when they light up whereas the IS-F gives it more of a stock look. IS-F will cost more but in terms of quality and fitment, you can't beat OEM.

Thanks for the explanation. I thought the IS-F version had LED turns too like the 2009 IS?50.
Since the clear turns are the only difference, I'm gonna skip it.

^^No prob. Yea, the IS-F version doesn't come with LED turn signal bulbs but some replace the amber bulbs with yellow LEDs so that the clear housing is actually clear all the way through without any reflections from the amber colored bulb.

Actually, OEM & Ebay are both 4 piece sets..
They both use regular style bulbs for the reverse & blinker bulbs
The only difference is the EBAY / Aftermarket ones use a lot more LED's through out the 4 seperate housings..
I saw these at SEMA last month.. I wasn't really impressed at all....
Buying just the 2 outer OEM IS-F tails is a safer bet, if you want to just get rid of the oem Orange lense..
Sup Mister T!!
