In my experience, the rubbing was lessened after rolling the fenders. Plus, it only was happening on my rear driver side (driver side is lower than passenger side on our cars).
Check the specs of the tires that you're considering - I have Nitto 555's, 275/35/19. However different brands might have a slightly skinnier width, which might be enough to prevent rubbing.

its actually not the fender it rubs on after you roll the fender on the driver side. put a lot of time into figuring out what the problem was. on the drive side where the lower bumper cover meets the fender line you will see where there is a clip that allows the bumper to hold on in that corner. there is a tab that sticks out farther there and that is what the tire actually is rubbing against. we sanded that down, power tool at dealer, in seconds it was gone and I never rubbed again after that. just make sure you put paint on it after you are done

Does anyone know if car insurance companies cover aftermarket wheels? how does that work? do i need to tell my insurance company that i have aftermarket wheels?

yes I have 275/35 with eibachs, but they rub, not bad though. I have a fender roller Im just waiting on a hot day to do it. do you rub?
