WOW- I guess it all depends on where you search, there's even a website devoted to it; porscheenginefailures dot com. That explains why the new DFI block is no longer a split case- now I'm really paranoid, though the car only has 8k on the clock, and porsches states the IMS issue was resovled late 03 and the intermix early 04... one more reason to trade the 06 in for an 09- DFI, PDK may be in my future
