Default Quick question about dealership adding OEM 18's at purchase

sorry, total newb here. so I'm set to head into my local dealership within the next couple of days to get an 09 IS250. the only obsidian/black IS250's they have with prem pack are ones with stock 17" rims so the dealership is adding on the 18's for me off a navi package 250. luckily there's a guy paying sticker for that navi 250 but wants the smaller 17's for a "smoother" ride.

I'm worried that since maybe the one I'm buying wasn't built at the factory with the 18's, if added on, could there potentially be any problems I may encounter as time passes? what are the most imperative things I should be looking for or asking about before bringing my car home? the guy at the dealer was telling me that they'd "balance" the tires, etc.. but is there anything they may shaft me on cause it'd be too much labor n stuff?

thanks in advance for any input.

Dealer swapped 18"s will be no problem.

I wouldn't worry about it. If you're switching 17s to 18s on a RWD ISX50, you should have no problems. I switched my stock 18s for another set of Lexus OEM wheels (G-spiders), and I've had no problems what so ever.

The 18s are going to look so much better on your car! Congrats on your new purchase.

OEM 18's are made for the car so you have nothing to worry about after they are mounted and balanced.

Since this is OEM, when you swap 18"s for 17's, the tire height is smaller to compensate so no worries about rubbing etc. It will look great as well.

^^Pls some1 correct me if I'm wrong but the total OD will be the same. 40 series are used for 18" and 45 series for 17's to compensate for total OD.
