There are many ex owners that have moved on to Lexus. It really depends on where you are at in life and what you're priorities are. Also depends on what you expect from your car. I sold my AP1 with Hardtop to buy my first IS350. Sold that IS350 about a year later. Then jumped back into an AP2 Laguna Blue. Loved being back in an S2000, but it was time to move on to something more practical on a day to day basis. So I ended up buying another IS350.... The first one I sold because I thought I was ready to give up the handling of the S. I was wrong. The second time around, I still miss the S, but I love the interior and luxury of the Lexus. Who knows, down the road, if I can comfortably afford a second car, I'd love to pickup an S as a weekend toy. The main thing missing from the IS is the steering feeling and the handling. Everything else, the Lex wins hands down. There simply is no car in the price range in terms handling better than the S.

i've never driven a s2K but im sure it would handle better, but again the two cars are very different. the two main things that bother me about the IS350 are the handling/feedback and the useless front seats. i think the suspension can be worked on to make it better, handling will never be as involving as a euro car. my cousin just got a S2K and loves it.
