you can get them repaired for ~50$ each! Glad nothing more serious happened.

I spotted some chipped paint on the fenders today. so now its even more logic to use the insurance.
I know a shop who did my lips, so i will take it there.
about the wheels: they can just get new ones from lexus they told me. they would also get the tires, alignment and check if nything is wonrg like axle, etc.

HOW ABOUT AFTERMARKET WHEELS? can i just tell the shop to order me some wheels that are not lexus, does the insurance company pay for that???

Dude. I was pulling into work today and did the same thing. For some stupid reason, the parking structure at work has these cement guides as you go up. I had a feeling that one of these days I was going to tag it with my 19s. Finally happened today and was practically sweating as I sat and waited to see the damage.

Just think, though, there are a lot worse things that could have happen to your car. At least it's fixable and relatively inexpensive. I feel your pain, brotha.

I know, im crossing my fingers that if there is anything wrong they can find it and replace the part. I dont want this to hunt me down in a couple of months.

I don't know if it depends on your policy, but it's probably best if you company knew about any non-OEM parts before making claims on them.

As for your wheels, my local dealership offers repairs for $100 per wheel regardless of the severity of the damages.

Oh man, your wheels are pretty messed up. If I were you (if you don't plan on getting aftermarket wheels) I wouldn't bother fixing them. For a few hundred dollars you can easily buy a whole used set here in the CL classifieds. Good luck on the repairs!

since im going to fix it with insurance they might estimate the wheels at around 650 each. I will be needing 3 of them. thats what the dealership has them for.

if they do so, i might tell the shop to order me some VOLKS and i pay the difference. (is that possible? or do i have to get the lexus wheels?
i just have to wait and see what the deal is with the estimates. at least the shop that i wanna take it too is the best one in town. they do infiniti, lexus, cadillac, porsche and all. they painted my lips for me and did a great job.
