Default can i return the extended warrenty and get my money back?
hi, i'm planning on sale my 2006 is250 to carmax. but i initially purchased the 6 yea 100.000 miles extended warrenty. since my car is still under 3 year 50.000 originall warrenty. i was just wondering if i can return the extended warrenty and get $$ back.

Some contracts are written that way, but you have to read it. And the refund will be pro-rated.

Yes if the extended warranty is with Toyota (they do it for Lexus).

but since m still under the manufacture warrenty. do i still get pro-rated?

Cannot know without reading the contract. Is this an aftermarket or Lexus warranty?

it was 770 or something around that. we got it at the same time we bought the car. so not sure if it's provide by lexus or not. need check.

Just curious. How much is Carmax giving you for it? My daughter took her A4 Cabrio to Carmax and they really lowballed her (even as compared to a BMW dealer). Is yours a Nav model?
