Roof rack
Winter time is almost here and looks like it's going to be a good winter for snowboarders. I need a roof rack for my boards. I dig the Lexus OEM roof rack but I'm not diggin the price on it
For those that have a roof rack what kind did you get? Yakima is on my mind but that's a little pricey. Also, could you list your specs; size/length and type?

I was just thinking of the same thing the other day when we traded our 07 ES350 with our new 08 IS350. I need one as well to carry my 3 surfboards on our surf trips. For over a year I searched for a roof rack for our old ES350,and I finally found that the Yakima Q-towers fit with the Q-clips designed for the camry.
I've only had my new 08 IS350 for about a week and will try to see if my old Yakima Q-towers fit onto the new IS350.
Here is a pic of my old ES350 with the Yakima Q-towers.

the Q towers will fit nearly all cars. the Q clips is what is designed specifically for each vehicle. some vehicles with shorter roofs need the Q stretch kit, but i dont beleive the IS is one of them. i looked into this a few weeks ao for my mountain bikes but never actually purchased the new clips. i already have the Q-towers, 48" load bars and 2 bike mounts. yakima is expensive but they are great products and looks much better than the trunk mounted carriers.
