Hi guys.. I need help. It seems like the LED in the passenger foot well got kicked up into the plastic. Can someone give me steps to remove the plastic under the airbag? I don't see any visible screws. Also, the fuse box is down there and I don't want to destroy that either, so anyone with any experience of changing those lights would be much appreciated!

The plastic piece which holds the footwell LED should just pop off. Don't be afraid to give it a good pull.

Need to revive this thread. I tried pulling to no success. Has anyone changed the LEDs before? Where should I pull? Thanks in advance.

You need to pull near where the panel meets the glove compartment. Pull until you think it is going to break. Then pull some more.

Thanks for the advice. I pulled it off and fixed the LED.

Just an FYI to everyone else, the bottom plastic piece under the glove compartment is held by four metal clips, left, left-center, right-center, and right. There's also a plastic tab on the right hand side.

anyone know what tyype of bulb is down there?

I'm pretty sure the guys said it was an LED. I'm guessing it's a factory part, not something you can pick up at your local parts store.
