Default IS350 All-Season Tires

Do any of you guys have Goodyear Eagle F1 All-Season Tires on your IS? I've thought about getting these from TireRack but when I'm about to "check-out" the order, TireRack gives me this warning:

"The following tire you have selected has a higher load rating than the vehicle's Original Equipment (O.E.) tires. This typically results in increased ride harshness, which some customers may find undesirable."

I think the standard load ratings for the IS is 88 for the front and 95 for the rear. The Goodyear Eagle F1's have 92 in front, 99 in the rear, which is classified as "XL".

I currently have the Continental ContiExtremeContacts but the Eagle F1's seem to be better reviewed, especially in snow.

What do you guys think? Have any of you noticed a big difference with these tires in ride harshness compared to the OEM tires?

I have them also. They seem to ride a little better than the stock Dunlops. But, as the other poster said they get louder with wear. I think on mine it has to do with alignment. Mine has always had noisey front tires.

+1 - love the PS2's on my IS; very quiet and wearing great for not being able to rotate them.

RE960 is very quite with lots of grip. The tread wear is pretty good too 400+ I think. Just for comparison...with my stock RE050 I ran a 13.8 at the track compare to 13.6 with the RE960AS. I heard good things about PS2, it grips like no others in the rain but it's pricey and doesn't last as long.

I have the F1s on my AWD, and generally they are really good for all types of weather. The minor thing that I don't like that they have a stiff side wall so the ride is a bit bumpier. I only have about 8k on my tires, and so I can't comment on the noise.

I just got a set, they had decent reviews on tirerack. No all-season tires in our size did really well.

I've got Goodyear F1 Asymmetrical.

Try those out.

Similar to the Michelin PS2's but a tad cheaper =P
