High Output alternator for Lexus IS 2nd Gen.?
Hi guys,
I am looking for an High Output alternator for my Lexus IS 220d (yes Diesel) 2nd Generation.
Anybody has some experience with HO alternators for a Lexus IS? And where are they available?
And does anybody know how much the standard alternator puts out?
In my country, the Netherlands, it's very hard to get High Output alternators.
Please advice and / or help a European Lexus driver!
Regards

I already contacted several company's / persons who build them; e.g. Iraggi and Ohio. Let's hope they can help me out... :S
If anyone knows another company / person who builds good quality High Output alternators, please reply! TY!

Just checked that page, but it does not say how much the standard alternator is...
The only thing I can find, which is somewhat relevant, is:
Battery Capacity (Volt / Amp. hour): 12 / 55
Generator output: 1800W
Starter output: 1.7 kW
:S

CanAm? They make them for Stinger, or at least they used to. I had one on my old car. Would I recommend it? Not if there are other options. But if you really need one and there are no other options, they may make one.

Anyways I contact Lexus Germany and it seems I only have a 130A alternator in my Lexus IS 220d... Sigh. What a crap. :S
I need that doubled (or at least close to that figure)...

Man trust me when I say; it sucks to live in Europe (the Netherlands) regarding car hifi products and cars in general. Sigh...
For drugs and stuff, it's the other way around.

Just 3 SI Mag's v4 12" subwoofers powered by 2 strapped Sundown Audio 1500D amps and 1 Sundown SAX-100.4 bridged for my component sets. Which makes a total of around 2800W RMS...
...but now I need the power to support it.
Yeah even in Holland we have places that rewind alternators, but there aren't much and most of them crappy, or lack experience. And did I mention that are almost expensive as buying an High Output alternator from the States?

Well, compared to you guys (most Americans), it's not that "bumpy".

what are the specs of the box? I had trouble fitting a ported 3.5 cuft box for 1 15". also, why didn't u just go with the 3000d instead of the 2 1500's? do you have any additional batteries? have you done the big 3 upgrade?

However I do have pictures of my previous audio-installation in my lexus: http://auto.mvdl.info/
