Default Updated pics and just detailed!

Just got my car washed, clayed, polished, and waxed. It had a lot of swirl marks all over the car because of use of terry cloths and running it through machine washers. =( But at least they're out!

I asked my cousin to take some pictures for me for some updates on my car...

I added a fab replica lip, blacked out the chrome trimming on the windows, added the tanabe exhaust, I added white LEDs on the interior, but it's not shown... enjoy! Positive feedback is always welcomed!

And a few fun pics with the polarized filter and adobe editing..

The detail job really shows in the pics, keep up the good work!

How did you black out the chrome window trim?

The first pic looks very nice. I suggest you lower it next. And yeah same question as Mister T, how did you black out the chrome trim around the windows?

I used this tape called "Black Out" tape that you can find at Pep Boys. It's made specifically to cover up chrome trim. It was holding up really well until I brought it the dealership for hail damage, and they screwed with it so now there's bubbles in some places and parts of it is starting to peel off. I'm thinking about painting it just so I don't have to deal with it

Gotcha. One company that makes them is called "Trimbrite".

Thats the stuff I used on my other car, it looked really nice but after a few months the sun got to it and the tape somewhat shrunk revealing a bit of chrome. I was contemplating doing it to my IS but putting tape on a Lexus seems very ghetto in my opinion.
