Default Blacking Out Headlights - What Paint?

Hey. I don't drive an IS but I'm interested in blacking out my headlights. My question is geared specifically toward those who have HIDs. Do you have to use special paint for the inside of the headlights...like high temp paint, plastic paint, or some other specialty paint? You guys recommend any brands? 'Preciate it.

I think this will be a little better than paint:

That's exactly what I meant. Not going the film route.

make sure you sand the chrome before you spray the paint on it. specially if you are doing the fog's chrome.

I have done mine and things are not bad so far

I've done many sets
2 04-05 impreza
1 06-07 impreza
1 08 Forester

My suggestion on paint is krylon fusion plastic paint... No sanding required and it's held up very well. I've also used krylon flat black.
