Default Rear GFX lip installed without screw or cutting bumper

I decided to install the rear GFX lip but didn't want to cut my bumper nor put holes in it. The whole rear lip is held on by just the orignal 3m tape. Tell me what you guys think about the fitment since the opening around the exhaust wasn't cut. Debating on weather keeping this on or putting my F-style rear back on.

Looks good but I'd be concerned about how the 3M tape holds up over time.

The fitment looks good. Do you have any inside shots of the lip with the tape applied? Also, can you take a picture from above showing the gaps between the bumper and the lip?

Thanks,

Wow. That looks really good. Has anyone else done this? I wonder how it holds up over time, rain, and snow?

It looks good. Was there any part of the GFX rear lip that you could apply extra double sided tape? I'm not sure how much tape is originally in the rear lip so I can't reallys ay it will hold up but a decent about should keep it there unless you drive over a bump or side gutter where the lip could get caught, then you'll have a problem.

Damn your car looks good. I need to hurry up and install my rear lip, I've been hesitant about drilling through my bumper.

I would be concern during raining periods. How can tape really hold up so much weight during a long period of time?

Well, he lives in CA and rain occurs here a couple of times. There are those heavy downpours but it usually happens 1-2 times in a year, if it happens at all.

Hmm I'm gonna try this 3m tape dealy..the rear lip was like $70 so if it does fly off on the freeway, ehh. I'd be over it in a jiffy.

Most of the time when double sided tape, 3M in general from my experience anyways it heats up from the sun/heat and then once it cools down it gets a better bond, especially when the surface is nice and clean AND the contact between the tape on the bumper and lip is perfect.
