Default help on tire fitment for Volk TE37...

do you guys think these tire sizes should fit & look about right with this wheels or should I get stretched tires instead? my car is sitting on Tein CS & most likely not planning to have fender roll.

Volk TE37 --- 19 x 8.5 J +35 / 19 x 9.5 J +34

Michelin PS2
235 / 35 R19
265 / 30 R19

Those sizes will work fine. But I dont know how low you plan on going, but if it was me I'd do 225/255s

i'd personally do 235 and 255's but you'll be fine with the 235/265.

and nice rims, i've been looking for the same ones 19x8.5 all around (AWD model). good luck!

I used to be a Flight Operations Officer for Japan Airlines. I remember seeing those boxes slapped with JAL tape everywhere. LOL.

Anyways

Sweet wheels BTW. Want to see them with some rubber.
Where in NY are you?

speaking from experience, 235/35/19 will work in the front,
265/30/19 will work for the rear, you can even fit a 275/30/19 if you want to mod your fenders.

hey guys, thanks for all the replies & I really appreaciated!

for the ride height, I probably leave one finger gap or two. Caused having rear passengers is one of my concern. The other thing is rubbing issue in the wheel well or fender, especially making u-turn and such if you know what I mean. I tried to minimize the option of fender modification as much as possible.

I'm still thinking between (235 / 35 R19 , 265 / 35 R19) and (225 / 35 R19 , 255 / 35 R19)

so guys, PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE WHAT TO DO PLEASE

for Johnnyboy:
you had (235/35/19, 265/30/19) before and didn't have any rubbing issue. but you modified your fender at the time right?

yes the rears will camber in a bit when you drive with the new set up. Lots of room. I'm running the same type of set up and now I want spacers!

i had 225/35/19 but i had +29, you'll be fine with 235/35 on a +35

on the rear i had 275/35/19 and 265/35/19, but both at the offset of +29

you're a bit less conservative, so you can fit a 275/35/19 without rubbing issues, and a 235/35/19 in the front

I am running 235/35 and 265/30 with no fender mods. I get a little bit of rubbing at the front on big bumps and turns, but back still has room. I personally would run 225/35 in front, I'm at a +31 offset with 235/35 and rub but you're a little more conservative up there. Either way you will probably need to do the heatgun mod for the inside of the wheel well for when you turn your wheels.

Glad I found this thread! Just purchased an 2009 IS 250 AWD and plan on putting TE37s on as well in black.

Where'd you purchase your silver ones?

You have a 2009, or a leftover 2008?

2009 my paperwork says. I pick the car up today, Tuesday 26th.

Or, did the screw up the paperwork and it's really a 2008?
