What do you mean, "adjust the latch"? When I installed my CF hood, you could adjust the fitment, but the catch for the latch is fixed.

Is the issue that the hood isn't latching when you close it? In my experience, you have to close the hood with some force to get it to stay.

Yes, please clarify - are you talking about the front hood release? I don't think it matters, but did you get a Seibon?

And you've tried to slam it closed? Go ahead if you haven't, it won't hurt anything. Also, make sure the hood is centered properly.

The striker has to be transferred from the stock hood. As such, it's held in by two bolts. There is room for the striker to be adjusted a few mm to each side, but it really shouldn't affect the hood's closing.

I have a seibon cf hood too... just slam and if it doesn't slam again. It's hecka hard to close the stupid thing. It's easier to slam it from a short distance from closing so don't try to slam it from way up high. hope that helps.

The Seibon hood can be a bit tricky - a lot adjustment needs to be made to get it to line up properly. But I guess it's all relative, depending on your techincal ability.

well thats why its not closing...you need to take off the latch from the stock hood and bolt it onto the carbon fiber one.
