I know that on a 1/4 mile they are about the same,
but I can't say the same about on a roll.

I raced one on a roll in the fwy,
I took it by about a car, but it all depends on driver.
(dont enforce street racing) lol

So it all depends,
an IS250 on headers & custom exhaust will surely
be way more than competition for a C300.

Who cares, neither of these models are cars you buy for speed. If you want speed, buy an M3, ISF, or C63.

I think the c300 can take it. My friend just got a c350. Very nice car. Fully loaded for cheaper than a is350 fully loaded.

Working at Mercedes Benz and seeing these cars day in and day out..I'd go w/ the lexus. Less problems, a tad cheaper on maintenance and way less complicated.
