I test drove the IS-F on Saturday... The thing that impressed me the most was the SOUND after 3600 RPM.. is there anyway to mod the IS 350 to sound like the IS-F?
The IS-F has a pretty sweet airbox that opens up a flap above about 3500rpm, so it gets that growl. Easiest way to get that sound, or similar to it.. get an F-Sport intake (is has an opening in the front of the box).

^ I agree. I have the f-sport intake and tanabe exhaust, and it sounds pretty close to the IS-F. Not quite as loud as the IS-F, except at WOT where it is sweet sounding and pretty similar.....even though it's a 6 cyl.
Its just a matter of self decipline. I have just the Lexus HKS dual sport exhaust and love it. I may get the F-sport intake in the future but I'm not so crazy about it.
I agree with passnu2. The intake systems don't make any power so you might as well keep it stock. I think the exhaust does give a couple of HP but nothing that will be noticed by anyone anywhere aside from a dyno.
