Very noticeable creak from rear springs while exiting car?
hey everyone... i own an '06 250AWD and have had very few problems with it. No dash rattles, or other tsbs, except the brake dust one. Currently my car has about 27,000 miles on it, and at around 25,000 (unfortunately it came after my 25k service, otherwise i would have brought it up then) i began to notice a very loud creaking/squeak from what seems like the rear end suspension as i exit the car. I can easily replicate the noise by simply opening the driver side door and putting my foot on the door sill and pushing down with my weight and then letting off. i have the stock suspension, but aftermarket rims (which arent causing this). i plan on taking my car in a little bit early for its 30,000 mile service and bringing this issue up to the technician, but wanted to see if this has happened to anyone before i bring it in.. does anyone know what could be causing this??
the first time i brought my car in with its squealing brakes, the technicians put it off as a weather issue (humidity?) i disagreed but brought the car home, and then on my next service insisted that i get the TSB done because humidity has nothing to do with it... i just want to get my facts straight before i go in so they dont try to put it off as some variable issue that doesnt have to do with the car, but rather the conditions in which the car drives in. Has anyone else experienced this suspension creak? and if so what have they done for it?
BTW - I am NOT talking about the Eibach slap noise that comes with the suspension kit, i have the stock suspension.
This squeak is most noticeable while exiting the car after any length of ride (quick ride down the road or a long highway trip), but while getting in it seems to be somewhat quieter.. any thoughts or help?
thanks

I got it too... honestly I thought it was just me.
I'm also not able to consistently replicate so I just ignore it right now. I'm at 30k miles... with my luck, just right when warranty is over, it'll make the noise consistently and cause me issues.

Is your E-brake applied when you hear the creaking noise? If it is try exiting without applying your e-brake. If the noise is gone, then the noise is cause by your e-brake which is normal.

aright so i got the service done and brought it up with the tech.
we went out and replicated the sound, and he immediatley said it was my e-brake and that he would take care of it..
when i got the car back he told me that they had tightened the e-brake, and that the noise was gone =) (at no charge) and it was!
I've heard of there being a TSB for getting their e-brake tigthened.. or if it wasnt a tsb then maybe it is just a free service anyways
so i guess if people are continuously having this problem, at your next stop to the dealership ask them to tighten up the e-brake to solve the noise and any small rolling that occurs after putting down the ebrake (mine used to roll a considerable amount)
