Thanks guys!
I couldn't get anything installed today went in for a maintenance service along with my friend. She had more things that needed to be done on her car, so I let her go first, by the time they were done the maintenance service for my car, there's not enough time left.. So i said screw it, i'll just order the ipod integration kit and install it at the same time.
The kit is factory GFX rear, not sure if I want to do it myself since I heard you have to drill holes in the rear bumper. I'll probably go in and get everythign done next time. I will post pics when i'm done for sure.

is that how it's set up in your car? very nice I'm debating on whether to install it in the ashtray or under the steering wheel as another member installed there. I dont' use the ashtray, so i can go either way, just trying to figure out which is a more practical way to locate the remote. any inputs?

In my last car, I had an input button under the steering wheel and always found ti to be a pain in the *** to reach down for buttons.
I found the ashtray location easier to do, and is closer to your reach while driving. It doesn't require any cutting of the ashtray...only thing you have to do is unscrew the actual lighter housing.
