Thumbs up 450+ miles to the tank! woot! :-)

For this tank of gas on my IS250 (auto), i decided to change my driving style a bit. The only thing i really changed was that i coasted as much as possible and i didn't gas it over 3k rpms. The end result:

That was taken at the gas station right before i filled up (the needle was below E, lol) 31mpg and getting ~450miles to the tank with about 35% city and 65% highway driving. Not too shabby!

Hahaha!!! True. I haven't driven my 350 for awhile, but my computer must be messing with me since I'm getting 15mpg. Probably didn't have enough drive time to really consider what my mpg was. When I used to drive it daily, I was then getting 18+mpg.

like 500Miles. If I can get there in 1 tank I'll cry from happiness.

I'm sure with the IS250 if you go on a road trip you can get 500 miles in a tank.

Over 30mpg is great! Good job! I can average 27mpg highway, but once I'm city streets, my lead foot starts twitching

Nice, I get those numbers pretty consistently but I'm almost 90% highway (a little less lately). The friggin computer tells me I'm hittin 33.5 mpg but the calculator says 30.9. Go figure.

But that was obviously taken after only traveling a little bit since the tank is still full. If it still said 41 right before fill up I'd be surprised.

Default Good for you

Your driving style certainly makes a difference.

Before I got my IS I was really considering the 250 because of price and fuel efficiency.

Sometimes I wished I did with crazy gas prices now-a-days, but then sometime I'm glad I got a 350.

I just got 370 miles (23.5mpg) on my 350...the best week yet. Im a daily driver from Socal so theres really no highway driving with all the traffic but I did keep it in Snow in back to back traffic and didnt go pass 75 mph. I will try to maintain that since I highly doubt you can get better mileage than that in LA with a 350...but I can be wrong.
