LOL - I thought the 350 was for your wife, pulled the ol' bait & switch on her huh . . . if your wife's like mine, she ain't gonna settle for the 250, better save up for the IS460/500 . . .

Dealers are dropping prices quite a bit. I got 4311 off MSRP (44784 to 40473) for a Nav-ML-Lux-Spoiler black/cashmere car, to be picked up in about a week. No dealer fees - state tax, $180 title/license/transfer, and a $100 vehicle inventory tax.

I bought an 2006 IS 350 with ML,nav, LT luxury pkg with HID/AFS, 18" wheels, rear spoiler, preferred accessory pkg, yesterday at Newport Lexus, 39.5K, $5,200+ off msrp. Great experience, my sale manager was Hieu Nguyen, go directly to him, bypass the sale person.

Any dealer fees or other fees besides state tax and your state's required title fee?

No other suspicious fees. Their price beats multiple other dealers that I checked. They have about 8 2006 IS350s and few 250s left, and will give you the bottom line price upfront, no need to waste time to negotiate. I was planning to get an 2007 IS 350, but they said that lexus will make less IS 350 than IS250 in 2007 and beyond, since the majority of the IS buyers are young, 20s to 30s, and most of them will go for the 250, for its lower price thus I may have to put a lot of effort in order to find the 2007 350 that I want.
Another thing...I don't like the shark fin look on the 2007 250s they have on their lot.

Slightly off topic here.
I'm considering whether to purchase a new 2006 IS250 automatic w/ premium pacakge and 18" wheel for about $2000 off from MSRP - so probably about $34.5k OTD
OR
3 months old (3000 miles) 2006 IS250 automatic w/ 18" wheel for $28k OTD (+tag and title) - private party sale - so no tax in GA. Color that I want too
Just with above info, I would just go w/ the used one BUT
I have a 2000 ZX3 w/ 150k miles and an accident (reported and fixed). So, I am not sure whether considering this factor, along with the different in interest rate between new and used car (about 1.5% in new car favor), I should get a new one or a used one?
So far, no dealer have found the color and the options that I want.
Any thoughts?

I bought my 06 IS250 through fleetrates.com. I worked with Bruce Kagen, he found me a granite mica with premium package, nav, and 18in wheels for 33500. Give him a try and tell him Devlon sent you
