Buddy of mine got a IS350 within a week of when I got mine.... about a week ago he got T-boned by a chick that blew a red light.




This pic cracks me up because of that random guy .. I guess the chick missed him (in his neon) when she hit my bud .. by friend said that the guy was more freaked out then he was because he would have gotten crushed






Now for the good news...insurance totaled it thanks to Lexus's GAP on his lease...check out his new ride

ya he's fine, not a scratch. It's funny, he said he was going to get another 350 but the dealership didn't have any in-stock so he "had" to get the F.

Bummer, another crash! Good thing that no one is hurt. Tell your friend to be extra careful with the F cause we don't want to see it end up like the 350 again. Congrats and cheers to the new upgrade

how much did the insurance company value the IS? (what did they determine the market value was?)

I'm not totally sure how that all worked out. He said that with the GAP coverage that's on all Lexus leases he got 6k over what the insurance said the value was so he got to walk away from it after a year with no money out of pocket. Worked out pretty well, I guess a lot better than it could have.
