Default Think I'm making a plunge for new shoes...

So I have a 250 AWD and I think I'm going to get some new shoes for her. I'm really into the X-Pac wheels. I know the set comes STAGGERED and some people here have mixed reviews about putting staggered wheels on a AWD car but also some people aren't reporting any problems with their staggered setup on their AWD either. Think I'm going to take a plunge and get the X-Pac wheels.

I'm getting some pricing together and I would like to know what tire sizes is best for this setup. Also, what brand/model. I would like to have All-Season tires in addition to "quite" ride tires as well.

So what size/kind do you guys think would be best?\

ps: I'm not looking for staggered look either...just want something that will "not screw up my AWD"

19x8.5 front and 19x10 looks great on my car.

I guess its all preference on LOOK that you want to achieve. You can play it safe and go 19x9 front and rear and just play with the offset to make them look the same at the fender line?

if your were getting the x package wheels you could always order 2 sets of the fronts and not have the tires be staggered or vice versa.

There is no mixed reviews of the staggering of wheels on AWD. You can do it, just as long as you get the proper sized tires. If I get wheels, they will be staggered you can count on that!

I think wheels make a car that looks good look even better and even an ugly car look halfway decent.haha
Not all aftermarket wheels make a car look better tho!
Remember you have a LEXUS....haha

What size tires do you think would be best for 18x8 front and 18x8.5 rear for AWD?

I think that is the OEM sizes for the staggered. I agree with passnu2 if your gonna go staggered.

If you go aftermarket you dont have to worry about staggered.

I've been running the Eagle F1 A/S for about 12k now... I'm starting to realize how effing loud they are. I dealt with them earlier on... but now I really notice the road noise.

I can't really tell interms of a performance gain either... you might wanna look elsewhere for better tires.
