Default Wiper Blade Replacement

I'm looking on Sewell online to get a pair of inserts, but there are two part numbers for the right side. Anyone knows the correct part numbers for the pair?

Left side:
85214-53080
http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/par...id=79536&nbc=Y

Right side:
85214-53090
http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/par...id=79537&nbc=Y

85214-06130

The part numbers for the wiper inserts are 85214-53080 and 85214-06130. Those are what my dealer sold me, and they fit perfectly.

I would personally avoid the dealer, hit up a Wal-Mart, and buy a whole new Anco assembly for under $10. Much cheaper than the dealer inserts and they work just the same.

That hasn't been my experience. I bought a set of Anco replacements for a previous car, and was so disappointed in their performance that I tossed them in the trash after the first storm and bought the OEM inserts. Same bad experience with a set of those triple-edge blades.

I have had great luck with the Anco's, but yes, The Triple Edge have been nothing but junk the many times I have witnessed their performance on others vehicles.

I usually rip the inserts out of the replacement wipers and put them back in the oem assembly. But that is just me!

Make sure you pay attention when putting in the inserts. The metal 'guides' -the silvery color- are re-used. On one side there curve goes up...on the other the curve goes down

It's been my experience that the OEM wipers are better than most, if not all, aftermarket wipers. Many aftermarket products are of worse quality than OEM, and that goes for some wheels, intakes, etc.

That's why you do research before purchasing. Alot of aftermarket products are cheaply made in mass quantities with bad quality control. But the good reputable aftermarket companies will produce high quality products. Remember the old adage: "You get what you pay for".

From my experience Rainx wipers performed as good if not better then oem wipers for half the price. Those anco blades will most likely rip in the sun in a year or less.

Thanks for the parts number. Now I will go down to the toyota dealership near my house to see if they have them as the Lexus one is a bit further away.

As a side note, the Valeo wipers on tirerack is buy one get one free currently. I have a pair on my SC430 (Fit perfectly) and RX330 (Not as well fit - I have to break the little tabs off in the inside). Anyhoo, they perform better than OEM and the Rainx before it. If the IS350 insert cost just as much as the Valeo, I'll just stock up on the Valeo - rain a lot here in Seattle
