Default Tom's Rear (hey hey) lol...

Given the hypothetical....

IS350 purchased with PA (Park Assist)......If a Tom's Rear is put on, will this affect the (PA) option due to placement of the sensors on the back bumper?

Is it possible to add a toms rear with the OEM (PA) option?

Please Advise....

Oh wait...here comes Passnu2 roflmao....hi mike

it wouldn't.. tom's rear is just a lip, so it goes under your bumper like the GFX. The sensors are in the middle of the rear bumper isn't it?

yeah there are 4 sensors around the middle of the bumper, above the reflectors i believe as well. the toms lip sits at the very bottom of the bumper so it will not interfere.

BTW dont get to excited about your Tom's Kit, if they alter the front bumper or rear bumper it might not be compatible.

Sorry but for the longest time I have noticed you have just been bashing and jumping up and down about the 09. If you think like that you will never buy the car. If you like how it looks today just buy it who cares they are going to change it or not. What were all the owners of 06 and 07 cars suppose wait and see if the 08 was gonna have liquid graphite wheels?

First of all, there is no need to be brash. I am buying an '09 because i dont have the money right now, or I would buy an 08. Period. Secondly, The kit will fit the 09's because its only going to be a refresh, they arent redoing the whole body style.

Thanks tfz. Im going with the LL (17" wheels as my winter set). It will be stock that way.

Them im am going 19's for summer set.

If i went LT (lux with 18" it would be harder to find 18" snow tires).

Special order FTW!

a refresh? that can also mean a revised exterior, for instance, they are facelifting the BMW e90 to have the front of the coupe, but the back of the sedan--because they find the look of the coupe front more popular. so all the lips available for the e90 currently will be obsolete in the future. it is not an entire redesign but just a "refresh"

Yep, you never know what lexus will pull, it could be the same design or it could be a whole new look like the GS got last year.

the front end was redesigned and the 06-07 kits didnt work on the 08 model due to the changes.

Thank you. Get the car and then will all be glad to answer the 12321321 million questions you have. Minor questions like how does the nav or something else sure, as far as body kits and other things that we all don't know how they are going to change. I think you should wait to have the car then o about picking those.

just my .02
