Might be picking up another IS350...questions on accessories?
So with a new longer commute to work shortly around the corner and the fact that I haven't used my truck for too much "truck stuff" since I got it, I may be purchasing another IS350, almost 1 year from when I got my other one
Anyhow, my biggest complaint and the reason I'm also looking into the Audi A5 is the fact that there are IS's EVERYWHERE here in San Antonio. Not many IS350's, but no one knows the difference.
So I was thinking about brushing mine up a bit with a few visible accessories and also some "under the hood" changes to tweak the performance a bit. Any input on these factory accessories? I should be able to get a decent price from my dealer so that is why I'm looking at letting them do it all and just get it out of the way (plus be covered under the warranty).
18" ISP Wheels (on SGM)
Ground Effects Kit
iPod Interface
XM Satellite Radio
IS-F Exhaust or the HKS Exhaust (which is better?)
Sway Bar Kit
Rear Chassis Brace
Thanks for any input/advice!

Well I wouldn't get another is350 again. Not that it's bad but if I had one before I wouldn't want the same car 2 yrs later I'd get something else, but if you really loved the IS then go for it. Maybe wait a year and get the coupe even.

I know this is a lexus forum but here is my honest opinion. If I were in your position I would get one of the other cars you mentioned, 335 or A5. I'm one of those people that I can't have the two of the same thing like that, I don't even like it when my family members buy the same car over again (unless its significantly redesigned).
If you are looking for performance I would go with the 335 for sure. If you just want something unique and comfortable, the A5 is the best looking of the bunch and has a nice interior.
But hey, if you don't mind having two of the same car, then I would highly recommend F-sport Exhaust and Spings/shocks, unless you want to go the aftermarket route.
ISP wheels are cool but keep in mind there are many aftermarket options available that would be much more unique, and can be had for similar prices.
Good luck with all the decisions!

I think if you enjoyed the IS before, then go for it again.
In talking to some of the local IS owners and by reading posts, what I've found is that those that don't have certain features/packages in their IS (i.e., Mark Levinson, NAV, etc.) are the ones that grow tired of the car. Those that do have them still love the car as they did from day one.
Different strokes for different folks, but get what makes you happy!
