Would you trade 350 for g37s?

The G37 is an OK car overall. It looks OK, but I LOVED the G35 coupe when it first came out, I don't feel the same way about the G37.
One thing that a lot of G35 and G37 owners complain about is the terrible MPG. With that said, I wouldn't own a G37. (Looked into it myself about a month or so ago).

Don't think the g37 is common? Wait a year. At my work (~1400 employees), I have seen 5 ISx50s including my own, and 3 G37s. On the streets, especially in Irvine?south OC, it's about the same 1.5:1 ratio.
If you wanted to be truly unique with a stock vehicle, you wouldn't be spending "only" $40K on a car. You'd get something horribly expensive and built in small numbers, like a Maserati or an Aston Martin (too many people have Porsche).
Just mod the 350, you'll probably just miss it when you get the G anyways =) heck 95% of the ISx50s I see are bone stock so it'll be unique. And trust me, I can spot my lowly 250 in the parking lot without a problem.

this might change your mind
I am currently driving an 2004 G35 coupe. Love the car. As some members here have made some general exterior and performance opinions about the G35 VS G37, I have felt the same way. I have driven the G37S and although I feel infinti has stepped up and upgraded the interior and is an improvement over the 1st gen, as far as I can tell the performance is about the same, and the steering is better in the 1st gen G35. Braking performance is awesome in both generations.

That's exactly what I was going to say. Also, I don't think it's worth it trading in a car that you still like that is only 2 years old. Paid off or not, it's not a wise financial decision.

I looked into the G37 a month ago. I was offered a 6speed with navi, sports, and satellite radio for $40 and TTL. There's a vendor dealership on the G37 board..I think it's Riverside Infiniti.
About the common thing, on my daily route...I see Civics, Accords, 3 series, 5 series, 7 series, G35 and 37's, IS's, etc. on a regular basis.
If you truly want to be of a rare breed....you need an exotic car. Even then, in SoCal, you will still have lots of other people who own the same car.

Pretty much my attitude at this point. I've owned a modified Evo and now a 335i. I had cars that ran 12s. Some of my friends are dumbfound when I told them that I want to get rid of it for an IS250, a super slow car. I just want a car that looks good, reliable, and gets good MPG.

The only consolation is that I have a relatively rare color (BSP). We have a black, 2 GFM, SGM, and a TP. Dodged a bullet! But I'm the only one with even redouts on my car. I parked right next to the SGM one day to see if they would notice....not even a second glance.
