I received this email today, just wanted to confirm if anyone can confirm

Lexus has just announced a Mid-Year Price increase for the following most of the models. Here is the breakdown:
IS250/350 = $300 increase
ES 350 = $300 increase
GS 350/460 = $400 increase
GS 450h = $900 increase
LS460/460L = $900 increase
LS 600hL = $900 increase
SC 430 = $900 increase
RX 350 = $200 increase
RX 400h = $300 increase
GX 470 = $500 increase
LX 570 = $900 increase
There is still time to save on your new Lexus. Please call or e-mail with question or to set an appointment before prices increase in Mid May. We are happy to custom tailor a lease or finance program for you.

Plus Japan is eating the depreciating US Dollar translating into less Yen per sale. $300 doesn't even begin to cover the currency difference in the past year.
Related to that, it's a shame that nobody overseas like American cars, because cars sold in Europe and Asia would have netted a great profit due to currency effects for Detroit either through increased units from lowered prices, or increased revenues via same units via same prices.

yeah, 300$ on its own is big, can get you a nice headrest with a screen in it, but when your buying a 35k+ car... 300$ really doesnt make or break it
