Default Took off emblems

I just took off my "lexus" and "is250"emblems today and i was thinking of paying around 300 dollars to get rid of the holes, but after i took out the emblems today, i noticed how small the holes were. So i was wondering if there were anybody else here that took off their emblems and just left their holes. thx

Even though the holes are small they are visible when you are up close to your car. It will look nice faraway, but when you get a close look it will be ugly.

And plus, rain and dirt will get in through those holes..MAYBE RODENTS!

I would at least place some small vinyl over the holes and use a tiny amount of touch-up paint. Moisture has a way to get into the smallest of openings and you do not want to open the door to any negative impact. Remember, the "Smart Key Module" and factory amp is in the trunk.

I like shaved emblems, it keeps people lookin and trying to figure out what kind of car it is or model i should say. I shaved the emblems off my 2004 Camry, and just added a VVT-i emblem on the bottom right of the trunk...

Don't go ghetto and leave the holes. Either put the emblems back on or fill them. I filled them and as you can see it looks great. I paid $250.

lol i got weatherproof tape and cut it really small and touch painted it. Why would you pay 250-300 bux to fill those tiny holes up. Rather buy an intake, HIDS, etc.

Heres how mine looks after i taped and touch painted. You can see the little tape on the right side.

Hey Bullskim, would you get some pics of these holes? I am wondering just how big they really are. I don't know how tape and touch up paint would look on Starfire Pearl..... I'm afraid it would look half-***. If you don't care though take some pics of the holes.

I really like the look of this. The smoked tails really compliment your car nicely!!!

seriously lol. I want to do this too but dont know how to fix the holes myself. I also am on a budget these days till I can work more hours after school is over.

Can I just buy a filler, and use touch up paint then wet sand and polish?

I'm surprised Lexus has holes. My 04 Camry didn't.

Paint matching the rear sections can be a bit of a crapshoot. You might want to consider Bumperplugs.com (don't know how many holes there are)?
