996 turbo exhaust
SO currently i got the s2000 tips on my car, and while i like them i want something more along the quad lines. Ive messed around and MS pain and here is a rough idea of what it may look like. Its gonna be quiet expensive as the tips themselves frmo porsche are around 300 dollars each, plus whatever its gonna cost to cut the bumper. Most likely get the TIPS off ebay or used ones cause i dont want to pay the full price
just want your comments
should i go for it? or keep the tips i got now
and yea its a very crappy chop i know but all i got at the office is Microsoft paint

could look stupid, could look sick

Personally I don't like it.
I don't like either the tips or the look on our car.
perhaps getting a dual tipped exhaust would be a better choice

yo that would be amazin if you could do that
pls measure the distance from the edge of the first bigger O to edge of the inlet and same for the other smaller O to the inleft tip for one side of the exhaust (Oo). I wanna know what the offset is from the center pipe to each tip edge tip. As well as length width and height. I know am asking alot but id really appreciate it.
well if these tips dont work ill probably go with the quad tip if i can find one that is.

Can I see pics of ur car with the S2000 tips? I don't feel like buying an exhaust because I don't want anything louder than stock, but I would like different tips. How much were your S2000 tips? Are they welded on? How much was the install?

dont have pics right this second, but tips were around 100 dollars for both, brand new from honda. tips are huge, stick out a bit so look better if u got the oem gfx kit. They are not welded, u jsut shove them in and tighten the screw (not provided) to hold in place.

My wife changed out the tips on her 911 to something similar to that style... the Porsche OEM ones are crazy expensive, I think she found something aftermarket that are reproductions. She's also got an aftermarket exhaust (GHL) on the car and just didn't like the tips that came on them for some reason.

If those will work I can ask if she'll go downstairs and measure them and if she remembers where she got them. She had them welded on, not screwed.

personally i dont think that quad look looks good on an IS. i dont like the IS-F quad either. if your gonna do quad go the qay of audi, benz, bmw or dont do it at all...at least not on an IS.

dont judge by my pic, i had to strecth them out, so they wont be anywhere as big as in my chop. they are actually quite small tips for quads. they are fauxuads
