what's the difference between the all red tail lights and the orange?

i just picked up a 08 is350 with the all red tail lights...but i noticed the ones with the little orange on it...is it really just looks? because other 350's had the orange...i just liked the red...mine is fully loaded..so the the colors dont mean difference in options or anything?

im assuming you got a pre-owned? because all 2is come with the amber in the tails. you probably got one with redouts.

yes i did get it pre-owned at with 3k on it...so it's an aftermarket part?

definitely sounds like redouts... all oem tail lights in the 2IS have the amber piece.

it is just a red vinyl that goes over the amber part to give the tails a more consistent look. definitely looks better than stock

If you want to verify it just use ur fingernail and lightly feel if there is a piece of vinyl glued on.

I have started to notice ISX50's online either at dealers or Ebay that have red-outs. One vehicle was at a Lexus dealer on the showroom floor. made me think if it was traded in that way or the dealer applied it. In any event, this is the best mod for the money IMO.

Looks like the original owner did a little mod on your car already. Be glad you don't have to spend $10 bucks on it. I don't see many red-outs here in CA so it makes your car stand out a bit.

Dunno about the last statement but it seems to me that most 2IS owner here in CL has them. But yes as everyone else said you bought a modified car.
