So me and my wife both are still having a bit of problem in gauging exactly where the curb is. That resulted in few scratches on the rims. The dealer said they can fix it for 100 for each wheel. I thought that was too much since you can probably buy 4 old wheels on average less than that. Since dealer is doing the fixing, I figured some other shops might be doing it as well.

Have you guys done any scratch repairing? I am in bay area.

I am not in the bay area but i have wheels repaired for about 75 a wheel. The wheel was missing a chunk out of it.

If it isnt major scratches i wouldnt even worry about it.

Wow, how did they repair missing chunk? My damages are mostly scratches and superficial. Problem is dirts get into it and makes it look worse than it normally would. Fortunately after getting the brake dust TSB done, it is looking better.

they just welded some more Aluminum onto the wheel and then machined it back to the original depth. It was on a rim for another car that i couldnt purchase so i just fixed it.

I think you can find a wheel repair. The place where i got my clear bra done said they were going to start full wheel repairs. Not to sure how the quality is but you can give them a call if you want the # shoot over a PM
