Talking Tires for the 2IS around $100

Hey guys, I searched but didn't come up with anything, plus figured it would be good to make a thread about more affordable tires. With that said, please post the tire you are running (other than stock unless you bought another set of the same, why?) and why you pick them, how much they cost, and where you got 'em?

As a side question, what kind of tire should I look to get If I want good performance, quiet, and good treadwear. I live in SoCal so wheather doesn't matter

Thanks ya'll!

The best "Bang for the Buck" is the Avon M550-A/S. I have about 10K miles on a set and they show little to no wear. They can be pushed hard and work well. I would get another set in a heart beat.

If you aren't staggered (225x4), you can get a set of HTR-Z IIIs for about $100/tire I think.
