Default Bosch Battery Will Not Fit... Suggestions On Replacement

I bought a Bosch battery (24) yesterday from PepBoys for my 08 IS350, but it seems too tall for the bracket. Can I adjust the bracket? If not has someone replaced a battery with a known fit?

A group 24 should be a 24 and fit properly (BCI group sizes are supposed to be standardized). Is there a handle on the top that you can remove?

Ya, but it doesn't seem to interfere, the plastic cover fits over it just fine and sits flush. I put the Bosch battery next to the old Panasonic and for some reason it is a little taller.

Take it back and exchange it for their ProStart battery. That's what I have in my currently and it fits and works perfectly.

I bought an Interstate Marathon battery. High cranking power. Love it. Its all black so it doesn't stand out. Also fits perfectly.

I'm using a Bosch size 24 in my ISF and it fits perfectly, also bought from Pep Boys. I also bought a size 24F for my wife's ES350 (reverse polarity) and that also fit perfectly. I know of no reason the Bosch size 24 will not fit any ISX50 model. I believe it's a bit stronger than the OEM Panasonic.

Note: you do not want the ProStart battery as suggested above, it's Pep Boy's second line.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Does anyone have a diehard gold? What do you guys think of them? The only reason is ask is because I got a sears coupon the other day and I figure I might use it.

Lou, I did see a post of yours yesterday while doing a search, and like you, I figured that if it would fit an ISF it should fit an IS350, so I was determined to make it fit... but still nothing
