Facelift Taillights fit Non-Facelift?

Do the 09+ Facelift taillights (white ‘swoosh’ reverse light) fit directly into my non facelift IS350? (2006)

has anyone done this conversion?

Yes they fit, but you need to bend back two metal tabs. I did it many years ago but i'm on the vland tail-lights now. Tabs pictured below:
