Default JoeZ install-Is it really necessary to disconnect the battery or pull a fuse?

What will happen if JoeZ is installed without battery negative side disconnect or certain fuse pull?
Longer ECU reading time or some problems?
If so,how much longer?

i'm not 100% sure what the negatives would be of not disconnecting the negative side of the battery but the way i see it...why not be on the safe side, i mean it only adds 30 sec to the installation time? i disconnected it when installing my joez pipe and had no complications and the ecu seemed to acclimate to the new pipe rather quickly. just my $0.02

Just looking to avoid resetting all the presets like radio,windows...
I've read it can be done but what would be the negatives other than a longer ECU recognizing issue. If so ,how long?

Don't disconnect the battery - just pull the fuse and you won't lose your presets.
