Default Bye bye IS250...

...and hello 350. Traded the 250 for an 08 350 yesterday. Had no clue I was getting it either. Took the 250 in for the annoying seat squeak and dashboard rattle. Saw this in the showroom and had options and color combo I wanted. Mom and I sat down with our last salesperson and were only suppose to talk about financing but the numbers worked out and we ended up purchasing it anyway. It sucks to be in the break-in period... The power is AMAZING! Wouldn't even be half throttle and it would just want to get up and go. Took some quick pix with cell, yeah I know, crappy huh?

Hmm, I see a spoiler, Nav and the new color wheels. Looks good. What did you get in trade? I don't think I could take the hit going from a trade-in 2007 to a new 2008. I see you went from Smoky Granite Metallic to Starfire Pearl. Was there a reason for it? It doesn't look like you'll lose too many costly mods. I'm not sure what the K&N Drop-in is, though.

Did you have any significant financial ramifications when you traded in your 250? I've been thinking of doing the same but I dont want to take a big hit.

Thanks and for the trade I got $25,500 which was the excellent price on kbb. At first they wanted $24,080 but told them I won't take nothing less than excellent. For the new car, msrp was $42,780 but sold it to me for $38,600. I like both colors but to me the starfire seems more classy and something different from where I live where there's mostly SGM and Obsidian. K&N drop-in is just an air filter replacement.

Well I guess it's all on the dealership. I got full price for my trade in and my second time buying a car with them. I wasn't going to take 24 grand for it because it was in really good condition. If they weren't going to give my that value, we were leaving.

How much did you pay for your IS250 for OTD when you bought it last year?

Thanks, we were aiming for a 7% interest but Lexus finance gave us 6.92%. Didn't put any money down just only the trade-in payments are tad bit higher because we still had payments for the 250.

OTD was $29,800. It was only the base model.

WOOT Starfire Pearl the best color (everyone says that about their color )

Well AzNLeX250 goto the mod forum and ask for a name change, AzNLeX350 AND~~~ no more 250 owner group depression threads for you unfortunately thou you will take a 10mpg hit on your fuel economy. The trade off? even at 1/4 throttle on a normal road at a stop lite you'll still be out alone ahead of the herd
