Default aux volume independent?

I just noticed that the volume level on AUX is independent from Radio or CD. In other words, whatever level i set in AUX stays the same even if i change the volume in Radio or CD. Is this normal?

btw, the level for Radio and CD always matches.

Yes, I noticed that too recently since I have to jack the volume up to over 50 to hear my mp3 player but then when I switch it to radio it automatically goes down to what it was when I was listening to the radio.

I would disagree as sometimes i forget to lower the volume in AUX, and when i change it back to AUX, the music starts to blast, and vice versa.

The sound level is independant in all sound modes; radio, cd, aux, and sat,
what ever level you were listening to it at last will be the same when you switch back.

Make sure to get the TSIB for the In-Line noisefilter installed in order to reduce that small whinning sound upon acceleration and an extrenal device hooked up via the 12V jack.

Yes. It's independent. I typically play my XM radio via Aux near 40. I play regular radio near 30. CD/DVDs also near 40. Unless if I have passengers, then all goes down to about 15.

Yea. Mine does the same. They are all independent. I noticed that when I had my volume all set differently and radio was at low levels, my CD was set at 25, and my AUX was near 40.

Aux is garbage IMo. I did the tsib but no difference. when I use it the sound is not equally projected throughout the cabin, sounds like its mostly comming from the driver side. I'm going to get it checked out again when I go back for oil change. I don even use it since it sucks, maybe I have a defective unit

I agree. It is when I listen to my CD's that it takes much more volume to hear them the way I like. If I forget to turn down the volume when I switch to the radio it almost blows out my ear drums. Some day it will probably blow out the speakers in the car as well. Maybe if my ear drums go at the same time it won't matter.
