I am glad you posted some pics with the GS wheels. Looks different and I think it is cool. Whenever I see an IS250 AWD, they all have the same boring OEM rims. Although the GS wheels are similar in design, I have never seen them on an IS. I wonder why the delaer put them on there. I noticed your blue vinyl fogs, looks good. Also, I love British Columbia, and appreciated the scenery in the pics as well.

they dont look bad IMO. too bad they arent 18" as i agree with Relexin that they would look much better if they had lower profile tires. but im sure the rid is much better on those 17" then any 18" rim.
Thanks for sharing first time to see GS rims on the IS.
did you purchase this used? i was wondering if this is why they put these rims on? maybe it was an extra set in the parts department. dealers usually keep the rims from cars when they upgrade them or do aftermarket but yet you paid for those stock rims and they keep them. hardly does anyone ask for them so man do the dealers make out with this. so they put new tires and rims on a car for only the labor cost but the new buyer makes out as well!!!

Hey, thanks guys!
Yea, It would look nicer with some springs and low profile...but the roads around where i live are BRUTAL..lots of hills and junk, both those will destroy my ride comfort. I am still deciding whether to get aftermarket rims or not..
and about the GS rims, yea, I bought a demo car, so the dude just had these on, and he tried to pull a fast one on me. "oh these are great rims, worth 3 grand", and then I told him to swap them out with stock rims, and give me the 3 grand and he shattap :P. So basically there were just replacements for the stock 17s, and well, i like these better. and yea, HUGE profile..its quiiiiiite the comfy ride. 225/50/17 tires. hehe.
and yea, BC is a great place to live. except the rain.

yeah i have the '06 gs rim on my car for the snow tires... it does it's job plus i don't feel bad about them getting beat up with the elements and (sigh) curbs. But that leaves room for money for something ellse
