exactly, I'm well aware of how to drive a manual transmission but for the sake of the car I'd like to maybe invest in one. You can build your own for a little over $2, I just wanted to see if anybody else has put one on.

How would this work in our cars anyways? The clutch needs to be fully depressed to start the engine. If you have a clutch stop, you can't fully depress, therefore, not be able to start the car, correct?

The stop is set right before the clutch engages thus reducing travel time. So in theory it decreases shifting time resulting in faster acceleration since u can get on the throttle faster.

Good point, I'm not sure if I can start the car pressing the clutch half way down, I guess I'll try when I get in my car next.

It seems like the clutch pedal needs to be flat on the floor for the green light on the "Start" button to turn on. At least in my experience.

If you know how to drive a manual properly, I don't see this mod making ANY difference. In fact, I see more harm than good coming from it, in both driveability and wear on the drivetrain.

It's a very theoretical advantage, but not a realistic one.
