I am the President of 4080enclosures.com. My partner and I build/sell fiberglass speaker enclosures for the Lexus GS 2006+ and IS. 4080 Enclosures was founded in 2003 by two car audio installers. With 20 years of combined experience building one-off custom enclosures and automotive interiors, we were disappointed in choices for aftermarket speaker enclosures. Most aftermarket speaker enclosures available to consumers lack a “factory look” and do not fit as advertised. Another disappointment was the sound quality and lack of low, deep bass extension. We set out to build a superior box that we would use in our ownvehicles! As of today, we have sold over 600 enclosures for the Infiniti G35 Coupe/Sedan and Mazda RX8! Here are the goals we set for our enclosures to exceed:


1.Maintain the vehicles factory look while providing exceptional bass response.
2.Accurate and consistent fit and finish.
3.Simple installation - NO CUTTING OR DRILLING into the vehicle.
4.Easy and quick removal for access to spare tires, tire tools, etc.
5.Versatile enough to work with most subwoofers on the market.

Here are some of the features of the GS and IS enclosures:



Each box is hand made from moulde taken from each Lexus vehicle; every enclosure fits perfect every time. You will not find a flat surface on these enclosures; every curve and crease adds strength. We even notched the enclosure mould for the cargo net hooks to ensure you don't loose any features of your Lexus GS with the addition of our enclosure.

One 12” subwoofer in this box and a 200-500 watt amplifier will give you substantial increase in bass response, enough to shake your mirrors! You can expect accurate and deep bass extension well beyond the factory system. Each box is optimized to work with most 12” subs that require 1-1.5 cubic feet in a sealed configuration.

Notice how we put notches in the box so you can still use your cargo net. The box fits perfect in the trunks cove.

The box takes up very little space in the trunk. The box can be removed in less than 10 seconds thanks to the screwless mounting tabs and gold plated speaker terminals.

this is some very nice stuff! i know 4080 does make great sub boxes because i had the left and right 10' sub box for my g35 coupe and they looked GrEaT! if i didnt have the ML system...ill pob would of went this route!

+1 for 4080. I had one of their custom boxes in my G35 coupe also and it was a quality product. Looks factory and provides you with sufficient space for a powerful sub.

I have a pretty new BD500 pushing a single 10" Fosgate P3 with a false wall but don't like the sound. Pretty much sounds dead and very little sound gets to the front.

What will this enclosure do?

Do you all make one for the driver's side of the trunk?

Driver side would be a better side, it may be better to have less heat buildup for the factory amp which is under the passenger side trunk carpeting.

I had one for my G35 sedan, great box defiantly recommend this box, everything from the shipping to the box.

I agree (that is why I asked if they have one for the driver's side). Also on the passenger side we also have the transponder receiver and optional sat. brain. I would not want all that vibration directly there.
