3000 grit sand paper and some twigs should do the job

SRS Airbag Curtain sensors are in the B pillar and require the doors to be smashed passed the steel beam. That looks like a ton of damage becaue the hood and at least the one front fednotr has to be replaced. Who knows if their is structure damage as well.

Well the bright side of this story is that the owner found an excellent excuse to upgrade to aftermarket rims

Consider that we've seen ZERO stock wheels do this up to this point before you run out and buy new wheels. Those wheels clearly went through hell in order to break like that.

Conversely, I've seen a few posts here showing expensive aftermarket wheels with cracks in them after hitting potholes. I'd say Lexus has nothing to worry about when it comes to durability of their wheels.

scary!

I believe the airbag sensors are inside the bumper?

From the pic it's not a major frontal collision......

a classmate of mine back in high school crashed his m e46 while hitting a curb at 60mph and his two front rims shattered into pieces. I wouldnt say its the quality but the stress and load given to the wheels to cause it to break. There has to be a explanation for everything. I dont think lexus would put some cheap reps on their cars its a saftey issue.
